DeMolay is an organization dedicated to preparing young men to lead successful, happy, and productive lives. Basing its approach on timeless principles and hands-on experience, DeMolay opens doors for young men aged 12 to 21 by developing the civic awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills so vitally needed in society today. DeMolay combines this serious mission with a fun approach that builds important bonds of friendship among members in more than 1,000 chapters worldwide.
Linden Chapter is located in Columbus, Ohio and meets on the First & Third Sundays of each month, at 3:00 PM at Northwest Masonic Temple. Linden was instituted in 1961, and is sponsored by Linden Lodge #637. Currently, Linden Chapter is home to 2 Past State Master Councilors of Ohio, Dale Hall (1986-1987), and Mark Chong (2013-2014). We are also home to 2 Past State Scribes of Ohio, Nick Bolyard (2011-2012) and Steven Lofland (2014-2015). Linden Chapter has been called home by many Past Master Councilors, Chevaliers, State Officers, and distinguished Masons.
Activities of the chapter include a Members vs. Advisors Kickball game, Mud Volleyball with other chapters in the District, Nerf wars, indoor snowball fights, overnight gaming parties, and also fundraising activities.
